March 1, 1919, marks the anniversary of the declaration of korea's independence by the people of the Korean empire, who were undergoing Japanese colonial era, against under Japanese rule.

삼일절은 1919년 3월 1일 당시, 당시 일제강점기를 겪고 있던 대한제국 국민들이 일본 지배에 항거해 한국의 독립을 선언한 것을 기념하는 날입니다.
